John F. Brandt “Jack”
Born and raised in Healdsburg, Jack graduated from Chico State University in 1971. He teamed up with his father, Milt Brandt, and became the first of the next generation of Brandts in the insurance industry. After over 40 years, and multiple advanced commercial lines schools, Jack has definitely accrued a vast amount of experience and expertise in nearly all aspects of the insurance industry.
As one of the Agency Principals, Jack heads up the commercial lines division, specializing in wineries, farms, distributors and contractors. He enjoys reviewing insurance programs, building business and personal relationships, and working with his brother Joe, daughter Amy, and son Todd. Jack and his wife of 40 years, Lindsay, love spending time with their four grandchildren. Jack regularly reads The Three Little Pigs Buy Home Insurance to them, and thinks there might just be another generation joining the family business.
Joseph L. Brandt “Joe”
Joe was born and raised in Healdsburg and graduated from Sonoma State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in 1973. He thought about studying medicine, but there was this insurance business in town that had his name on it, literally. Joe decided to give it a try, and joined his father and brother at the Brandt Agency. He never looked back. He learned the business by selling life and disability insurance for Northwestern Mutual Life, and then transitioned to selling personal lines insurance, individual and group life, health, disability and Long Term Care insurance.
Joe specializes in estate planning and employee benefits, along with managing the human resources department. He also makes sure the agency always keeps up with the latest technology. Joe enjoys working with his clients, along with his very talented staff. He’s a fourth-generation Healdsburg native, and has an active role in the community, including many years of coaching – from Pop Warner, to Little League, to Healdsburg High Football. (Go Hounds!) Joe is the proud father of two children, Rachel and Justin.
Commercial Lines Department
Todd F. Brandt
Born and raised in Healdsburg, Jack’s son Todd graduated from Sonoma State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business, and joined the insurance agency 1998. He started assisting in the personal lines department before becoming a producer in the commercial lines department in 2000. Todd is a graduate of a highly regarded commercial lines school based in Texas. He enjoys establishing and building new relationships with local business owners. As a commercial lines producer, he focuses on wineries, farms, and habitational insurance. He also manages the I.T. and technical aspects within the agency. Todd likes to play golf in his free time. He and his wife Nancy have two sons, Milton and Parker.
Raised in Healdsburg, Greg earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, and is a graduate of the National Alliance Commercial Producer School. Greg has over 12 years of sales experience, and spent five years in the lumber industry before joining the Brandt Insurance team. Greg might not have been born with the insurance bug, but he probably picked it up from hanging around the Brandt house as a kid. As a producer, he focuses on all things business and commercial, with emphasis in farms and wineries. Greg spends his free time with his daughter, playing outdoors and going on adventures.
Team Manager/Account Manager
Lynda joined the Brandt Team in 2012, with over 25 years of personal and commercial lines insurance experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in business, along with a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
Lynda was born in Healdsburg and raised in Sonoma County.Married with children (five of them), in her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening and scrapbooking.
In 1994, Jeanene joined the Brandt team, where she learned everything anyone would possibly want to know about insurance. Working as a commercial lines account manager, Jeanene appreciates the fact that there’s never a dull moment. She places new business, works renewals, and upholds an outstanding level of customer service.
With her two sons, Kent and Jared, grown and out of the house, Jeanene loves spending time with her dogs, bowling, and shooting pool. Sometimes, the dogs even let her win.
Fearing the “Smart Train” wasn’t going to be a real solution for her long commute to San Francisco, Vicki joined the team in April of 2015 with over 15 years of commercial and professional lines experience, reducing her 2 + hrs commute down to 25 minutes each way. She was born in Texas, grew up in Napa on a small farm, and currentlyl resides in Rohnert Park. She has been a member of the Santa Rosa Host Lions club for nearly 20 years and was the first woman president in the history of the club. She is an active member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. In her free time, you’ll find her at the gym, or maybe in a yoga class, or country line-dancing class, strolling the beach/hiking, cooking up a new recipe, doing something crazy like zip lining with friends or just chilling out with her dog and/or daughter. Christina came to Brandt Insurance in 2016 bringing with her over 10 years of experience as a commercial account manager. She was born in Sonoma County, has two grown children and one grandchild. She and her husband enjoy being with family and friends and spending time at the coast or in the mountains. Favorite hobbies are working out, walking and binge watching her favorite TV shows.
A Bay Area native, Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree from Sonoma State and joined the Brandt team in 2005. An agent in the commercial lines department, Jennifer enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and develop personal and professional relationships, along with the family atmosphere at Brandt. She and her husband Tony are proud parents to son Jace and daughter Marissa.
In her free time, Jennifer loves to play soccer and softball – which explains why she’s such a good team player at work, too.

Amy Brandt Browning
Senior Account Manager
Jack’s daughter Amy heeded the call of the family business in 1995. With 15+ years of experience, she has become the personal lines veteran and department manager. She works well with everyone, reviews insurance programs, and is an official guru of personal lines. Amy and her husband Craig have two young children, Connor and Alivia. Grandpa Jack and Great Uncle Joe have already ordered the kids’ business cards, but insist there’s no pressure.
Kelly joined the team in January of 2014 with 5 years of insurance brokerage experience. She grew up in
Santa Rosa, graduating top of her class at Maria Carrillo High School. Kelly spent several years at an agency San Diego where she was a top insurance producer, but jumped at an opportunity to move back to Santa Rosa in 2013. Kelly specializes in placing all types of personal lines insurance and is bilingual. If she isn’t at work, she’s probably playing basketball or volleyball, at Six Flags with her niece or on a weekend road trip.
Laura joined the Brandt team in early 2002. She was hired to learn the industry from the ground up, and has she ever. She also reviews personal lines insurance programs and policies. In addition to her account manager role, she assists the life and employee benefits division. Laura is always the life of the party. And although she’s never one to hide in her shell, she has a well-known affection for turtles.

Also born and raised in Healdsburg, Rachel starting working at the family business around the age of 11 putting the holiday calendars together. She worked at Brandt Insurance all through high school and while attending Beauty School. Rachel graduated from beauty school in 2007 and took a break from Brandt Insurance from 2007-2015 to focus on career as a Cosmetologist. She returned to Brandt Insurance part time in early 2015 to be a part of the family business again, assisting in the personal lines department.

Rebecca became a part of the Brandt team in 2016, a year after relocating to Sonoma County. She brings years of experience collaborating with other creative minds developing several small businesses from the ground up.
Rebecca welcomes the detailed challenges that her newly developed position brings her on a daily basis. She’s a perfect fit for Brandt Insurance and our community she now calls home.
Raised deep in the woods of Southern Humboldt on homegrown vegetables and pure spring water, Rebecca keeps herself and her two children, Celia and Quinn, connected to their roots by going on frequent outdoor adventures while branching out and enjoying the many sides of Sonoma County such as culture, live music and fine wine.

Brandt Insurance welcomed James Berry to the team in 2013. Born and raised in Mendocino County, he earned his bachelor’s degree from
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he studied Ag Education and Agribusiness. James brings 8 years of experience in the financial and insurance industry and a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide spectrum of individuals and small to medium sized businesses, focusing in agriculture. In October 2013, Brandt Insurance created a new division called Brandt Financial. James works in the new division and offers personal and business solutions in the arena of group benefits, life insurance, retirement plans, investments, and variable products, in addition to, estate and insurance planning with Brandt Insurance. James enjoys being involved in the community, coaching wrestling, and spending days at the pool with his wife, Gina, and daughter, Sasha.
Health & Life Insurance Manager
Also born and raised in Healdsburg, Joe’s son Justin graduated from Fresno State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2013. Since graduating, Justin returned to work fulltime to follow in his dad’s footsteps, joining the third generation of Brandt Insurance.
Justin focuses on finding health, life and disability insurance solutions for his clients on the benefits side of the office. An avid Bay Area sports fan, you’ll find Justin cheering loudly for the Giants and 49ers during the year.
Raised in Sonoma County, Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in business finance from Sonoma State University. Nancy originally joined the Brandt team in 1997 as a commercial lines account manager, re-joining the Brandt Insurance & Financial team in April of 2015. She brings 17 years of finance and marketing experience.
In her off time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd and two boys, and helping out at her kid’s school.

New to the Brandt team – but not to the insurance industry, Beth joins Brandt Insurance and Financial with over 8 years of experience. She began working in the insurance field while attending college classes in her early twenties. After learning all aspects of Property and Casualty insurance, Beth earned her designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor while selling personal and commercial insurance. After taking a break to raise her two children, Tyler and Hannah, Beth returned to the insurance business coming full circle in her career as licensed Life, Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance Agent. She and her husband, Bill, have been married 25 years. They actively attend Spring Hills Community Church, enjoy the beach, travel and wine tasting.
Local to the Santa Rosa & Healdsburg area, Laura joined the Brandt team in late 2017. Laura’s background is in Social Service work as an Employment & Education Coordinator for At Risk Youth & Adults, Real Estate Sales, and Customer Service. Outside the office she enjoys traveling, wakeboarding at Lake Sonoma, snow skiing with her son & grandsons, and hanging out with friends and her 2 big dogs.
As a teenager, Sally Brandt cleaned her father Milt’s insurance office. The oldest sister of Jack and Joe, Sally returned to Healdsburg after 32 years operating a ranch in Wyoming with her husband Barry, and their two children, Ty and Shannon. Sally joined back up with the family business in 2005. (Which just goes to prove that you can take the cowgirl out of the insurance business, but you can’t take the insurance business out of the cowgirl.) Sally heads up the claims department, along with assisting in the day-to-day operations of the agency.
